Azuma Restaurant first opened in Crows Nest in 1996 and quickly became popular with its high standard of food quality. Since relocating to its current location at Chifley Plaza in 2002, they have established their reputation as one of the most prestigious Japanese restaurants in Sydney, winning one hat from Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide multiple times. The owner-chef, Kimitaka Azuma had been honoured to be chosen to the Royal Dinner to welcome the Crown Prince of Japan and his wife when they made an official visit to Australia, as well as for the gala dinner of Opera Australia several years ago. His TV appearances include “Food Safari” on SBS.
